CC gaining hard in popularity.

I wonder if it is market exposure... You know, the guy driving down the street, sees a CC going down the road, "oh look, a benz... wait, is that a VW badge?". Whatever it is, (And I do think it is market penetration and increasing visibility) the CC is starting to move, and fast.

As of right now I've yet to see a 2010 Luxury or V6 model hit the lot. But the sports are flying out the door at under 30k. And why not? Sit in one and demo it. It simply doesnt feel, act or drive like a car that comes in at under 30 grand. The comfort level is amazing, the seamless doors, standard features, the way it drives, AND it gets over 30 mpg? Its about time that someone brought a true european sports SALOON (thats right I called it a saloon) to the states for under 30K. To heck with the Passat R36, I'd take the CC VR6 with 4 motion over that any day of the week. Oh yeah, and the fact you can actually GET a CC VR6 4Motion, that makes a big difference too.

And unlike BMW, VW's highline model (VR6 or VR6 4 motion) will come STANDARD with things like bluetooth, leather, panoramic sunroof, premium sound, automatic DSG tranny, heated seats and mirrors, padle shifters, adaptive headlights all for LESS than the price of a base line comprable BMW, Audi, or Benz.

I wonder.... Is BMW, and Daimler Benz listening? Tip- "brand image" and presitage factor can't compete with this upper deck home run that VW has lauched.
